The shirking of responsibility

I am getting tired of the government finding ways to absolve people of their responsibilities. It is not because I want to be responsible for every thing that goes on in the world, but I do want to have the choice to do whatever it is I choose to do. If my responsibilities for my actions are removed then so too are my rights to do them. The only way to release me from the responsibility of what I say is to remove my ability to say what I want to. Then since I will not have a voice I will not be capable of saying anything that offends any one. Of course, this would also mean that I couldn't say any thing to help anyone either. If I do not have any say in the raising of my children to some one else then it won't be my fault went they become scoundrels. I also will have no one to help me when I am old or to show the things that I like to. Responsibility is what makes life worth living because people who are responsible are able to make decisions in life and be satisfied with the work that they did. Responsibility is what the Bill of Rights is all about. What a person can do is directly related to what he should do. Rights and responsibility are linked in ways that can only be divorced by negligence. the present trend of the people is to promote negligence. I reject this trend, because to accept it is to reject freedom.
